Receiving & Inspection
Upon arrival, the Detroit One-Box assembly is thoroughly inspected for physical damage, cracks, leaks, corrosion, damaged components, and missing hardware. The unit is documented and entered into our tracking system to ensure complete service records throughout the cleaning process.

Initial Inspection & Internal Evaluation
Before cleaning begins, the One-Box assembly undergoes a detailed visual inspection of the exterior housing, flanges, sensor ports, bungs, and connection points. A fiberoptic camera inspection is performed to evaluate the internal condition of the DPF, DOC, and SCR components, identifying potential concerns such as cracks, melting, damaged substrates, or excessive buildup.

Initial Pneumatic Cleaning
The DPF section undergoes an initial pneumatic cleaning process to remove loose soot, ash, and particulate matter from the filter channels. This preparation step helps loosen contaminants and allows for a more effective deep-cleaning process.

Thermal Regeneration & Deep Cleaning Process
The One-Box assembly is placed through a controlled thermal regeneration cycle designed to safely break down and remove accumulated soot, hydrocarbons, and ash deposits. This process restores the filter’s ability to function properly while helping extend the service life of the aftertreatment system.

Final Pneumatic Cleaning
Following thermal regeneration, the DPF section receives a second pneumatic cleaning to remove remaining ash and contaminants released during the regeneration process. This step ensures the filter channels are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for reinstallation.

Final Inspection & Repairs
A comprehensive final inspection is performed to verify the condition and integrity of the completed One-Box assembly. Any required aftertreatment repairs, including sensor bung replacement, flange repairs, welding, or other component repairs, are completed at this stage. The exterior of the unit is cleaned and prepared for efficient reinstallation.
